These Terms of Service govern your use of basis.coffee and any purchase you make from Basis Coffee. By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Basis Coffee operates at basis.coffee. Questions about these terms can be directed to barista@basis.coffee.

2. Orders and payment

By placing an order you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for pricing errors and reserve the right to cancel orders placed at an incorrect price.

3. Subscriptions

Basis Coffee offers subscription plans for recurring coffee delivery. By enrolling in a subscription you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency you select. You may cancel, pause, or modify your subscription at any time before your next order processes by logging into your account or emailing barista@basis.coffee. We are not responsible for charges that result from failure to cancel before a billing cycle processes.

4. Shipping

We ship within the United States. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances outside our control. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

5. Refunds

All sales are final. Please review our full Refund Policy at basis.coffee/refund-policy before placing an order.

6. Products

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or substitute any product in our catalog at any time without notice. Product descriptions and images are for informational purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly.

7. Intellectual property

All content on basis.coffee — including the Basis Coffee name, logo, product names, copy, and design — is the property of Basis Coffee and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Basis Coffee products are sold as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose or specific results from use of our products. We do not make medical, health, or cognitive claims about any product.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Basis Coffee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of basis.coffee after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when these terms were last revised.
