PURCHASE OPTIONS CANCELLATION POLICY

Overview
Basis Coffee offers two purchase options: one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions. This policy explains your rights and options for each.
One-Time Purchases
One-time orders cannot be cancelled once placed. If your order has not yet been fulfilled, email barista@basis.coffee immediately and we will attempt to stop the shipment. We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered fulfillment. All one-time purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
Subscriptions
Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for your next order, your cancellation must be submitted before your next billing date.
To cancel, log into your account at basis.coffee and manage your subscription from the account dashboard, or email barista@basis.coffee with your order number and the request to cancel.
Cancellations are effective immediately upon confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email when your cancellation has been processed.
We do not issue refunds for subscription orders that have already been charged and fulfilled. If your cancellation request is received after your billing date has processed, your final order will ship and no refund will be issued for that cycle.
Pausing your subscription
You may pause your subscription at any time from your account dashboard at basis.coffee. Pausing stops future billing and shipments until you resume. There is no limit on how long you may pause.
Skipping an order
You may skip an individual delivery at any time before your next billing date from your account dashboard. Skipping does not cancel your subscription — your following order will process as scheduled.
Modifying your subscription
You may change your product selection, bag quantity, delivery frequency, or shipping address at any time before your next billing date from your account dashboard or by emailing barista@basis.coffee.
Changing from subscription to one-time
You may cancel your subscription and place a one-time order at any time. One-time orders are priced at $24 per bag. Subscription pricing of $20 per bag applies to active subscriptions only.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis at the frequency you selected at signup. Your payment method will be charged on your billing date each cycle. You will receive an email notification before each charge.
If a payment fails we will attempt to retry your payment method. If payment cannot be collected after multiple attempts your subscription may be paused or cancelled automatically. We will notify you by email if this occurs.
Free Trial and Promotional Orders
If you subscribed through a promotional offer or trial, the terms of that offer govern your initial billing. Standard subscription terms apply from your second billing cycle onward. Promotional pricing is not transferable and does not apply to one-time purchases.
How to Cancel
Three ways to cancel:
- Log into your account at basis.coffee → Subscriptions → Cancel subscription
- Email barista@basis.coffee with your order number and cancellation request
- Reply to any subscription confirmation email with a cancellation request
We will confirm your cancellation within 1 business day.
